Mother/Daughter Retreat
The
Mother/Daughter retreat provides a unique opportunity for a
mother and daughter to spend a memorable afternoon together.
This program allows girls to learn more about their
femininity, the special gift of human fertility, and the
importance of chastity. Girls learn about God's plan for
growing up in a chaotic world. The program is split into two
age groups: ages 10-12 and ages 13-16. Each age group covers
a set of topics that are appropriate for the age group. A
question and answer session is held for each age group and a
panel of speakers is available to answer those questions. In
addition to informational sessions and discussion, snacks
and refreshments are served. In the 10-12 year old group, a session is held where the
mother and daughter work together to create a memorable
craft.
The cost of
the retreat is $15 per family. The next Mother/Daughter
retreat will be held in 2009.
